Volunteers

Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the first Ryder Hesjedal's Tour de Victoria and for donating your time in support of the growing sport of cycling.
A Few Things You Should Know First:
Ryder Hesjedal's Tour de Victoria runs Sunday, June 24th, 2012 as the kick-off to the Victoria International Cycling Festival. It is the second Tour de Victoria and is a supported mass participation cycling event, catering to all ages and fitness levels by offering two distances: 140km for the enthusiast, and 100km or 50km for the entry-level rider.
The event starts at 07:00 and runs well into the afternoon. The weather in Victoria in late June will be wonderful! Many of the volunteer positions will be spent outdoors.
Like any World-class event, volunteers are the key to its success. We are looking for people:
- Who can commit their time and energy to this community event and are willing to work hard
- Who love to interact with the public
- Who are able to think on their feet
- Who are enthusiastic!
Benefits to Volunteering for Tour de Victoria!

As well as running a World-class event we want to give YOU a Worldly volunteer experience! Please bring your ideas with you!
We are looking for people to help out on the day of the event, as well as pre and post the event:
