Can I switch distances?
Yes. For info on how to change your distance (transfering to another sub-event), please click here. When changing distance you be charged or refunded any difference in prices, plus a $1.95 processing fee.
Can I transfer my registration to another person?
Yes. For info on how to complete the transfer to another person, please click here. There is a $1.95 processing fee applied for all transfers and they can be done anytime before registration closes August 17, 2018. After which, all changes must be made at Rider Check-In.
What is the Tour de Victoria’s refund and deferral policy?
We’re sorry you won’t be able to join us, but we understand that things can come up that prevent you from riding, so we like to give everyone a few options. You can transfer your registration to another person (see above) or you can defer your registration to another year for a $15 processing fee or receive a refund for your registration minus a $30 processing fee.
Deferral requests must be received at least 7 days before the event. Refund requests must be received at least 14 days before the event. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your deferral or refund request.
Can I drop off a signed waiver or sign it for someone else?
No. Riders must check-in individually and sign the waiver there.
Do I need to sign a waiver to participate?
Yes. Signing the waiver form is necessary for you to participate. There are no circumstances in which a rider could be in our ride and refuse, neglect or decline to sign the waiver.
Will there be beer available after the ride?
Yes, there will be a beer garden with Spinnakers beer after the ride. Each rider will receive one beer and there are cash sales for more. The beer garden is open to your family and friends as well. Please remember to bring cash and a piece of ID.
Will there be food available after the ride?
Yes, a delicious post event meal will be waiting for you just past the finish line.
What is provided at the Aid Stations?
Each station has a professional medical team, mechanical support, restrooms, hydration, energy gels & bars and fruit.
What happens if I can’t make it to the finish line? Can I get picked up?
Don’t worry we have a Broom Wagon vehicle that will be following the rides. If for whatever reason you can’t finish the ride, you and your bike will be safely transported back to the finish area.
Will there be a bike and bag storage at the start/finish area?
Bag check will be available at all of the start lines. If you are riding in the Legend or Challenge, your bag will be waiting for you at the bag check tent near the finish line downtown. There will be secure bike parking at the finish line so everyone can enjoy the festivities.
Can I volunteer to help out if I’m not riding?
Absolutely! The success of this event is dependent on our volunteers. Volunteer registration will be launched in the spring and any questions in the mean time can be directed to email@example.com.
