Victoria International Airport (YYJ) is served by most major airlines with direct flights from Toronto, Calgary, Vancouver, Seattle and San Francisco. It is located 30 minutes north of Victoria.

The Tour de Victoria has teamed up with the good people at ITT Wilson’s Tours to provide you with a ‘worry-free’ source of transportation on June 24, 2012.
Shuttle Descriptions
Mainland to Victoria
Step 1 – Walk on to the ferry (with your bike) that is travelling to Victoria (Swartz Bay) from the Tsawwassen ferry terminal.
Step 2 – Enjoy the beautiful boat cruise to Vancouver Island.
Step 3 – Once docked, walk you and your bike off of the ferry and board one of the designated TDV shuttles.
Step 4 – Arrive downtown Victoria.
Downtown Victoria to Start Lines
50km
Step 1 – Make sure you are in front of the Parliament Building (downtown Victoria) between 7:30am – 8:30am.
Step 2 – Board the designated TDV shuttle that is travelling to the 50km start line.
Step 3 – Arrival (30 minute commute).
100km
Step 1 – Make sure you are in front of the Parliament Building (downtown Victoria) between 5:15am – 5:45am.
Step 2 – Board the designated TDV shuttle that is travelling to the 100km start line.
Step 3 – Arrival (30 minute commute).
*140km participants leave from downtown Victoria – no shuttle required.
Bag Check - After you have taken the shuttle to your starting point, you have the option to check a bag. After you have reached the finish line, your bag will be waiting for you.
Downtown Victoria to Swartz Bay Ferry Terminal
Step 1 – Enjoy an après Tour drink or snack after you have finished the ride.
Step 2 – Choose which ferry you would like to take back to the mainland.
June 24 Ferry Sailings – 5:00pm and 7:00pm
Step 3 – Select loading time for a TDV shuttle according to which ferry you have chosen: 2:00pm – 3:30pm (5:00pm sailing) or 4:45pm – 5:30pm (7:00pm sailing)
Step 4 – Load your bike on a designated TDV shuttle, which will be parked in front of the Parliament Building, downtown Victoria.
Step 5 – Arrive at the Swartz Bay Ferry Terminal.

Also, I would like to remind you of our shipping procedure for bikes. Bikes should not exceed 18” in width, 48” in length and 54” in height, once the front wheel has come off. Bikes are sent on a stand-by basis, free of charge. If possible, please ask participants to bring bikes down to the Vancouver terminal at least 2 to 3 days in advance, in order to have them arrive in Victoria in time for the event. Please keep in mind that we are restricted in storage space at our Victoria location. Please let us know if you are expecting more than 10 bikes to be shipped.
